## Test Cases from Test Plan

### ✅ 1. User Registration
**Test Description:** Enter valid user details and submit registration form  
**Expected Result:** Account is successfully created and user is redirected  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Registration form: `app/register/page.tsx`
- Supabase authentication integrated
- Redirects to `/dashboard` on success
- Error handling for duplicate emails/usernames

---

### ✅ 2. User Login
**Test Description:** Log in using correct credentials  
**Expected Result:** User is redirected to the dashboard  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Login form: `app/login/page.tsx`
- Supabase authentication integrated
- Redirects to `/dashboard` on success
- Session management working

### ✅ 3. Incorrect Login
**Test Description:** Log in using incorrect credentials  
**Expected Result:** System displays error message for invalid login  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Error handling in `app/login/page.tsx` (line 40)
- Displays: "Invalid email or password. Please try again."
- Supabase returns proper error messages

### ✅ 4. Component Picker / PC Building
**Test Description:** Add a compatible CPU and motherboard  
**Expected Result:** Parts are added without any compatibility errors  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Builder page: `app/builder/page.tsx`
- Component selection by category
- Real-time compatibility checking
- Visual feedback for selected components

### ✅ 5. Compatibility Check
**Test Description:** Add incompatible RAM and motherboard  
**Expected Result:** System flags a compatibility warning  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Compatibility checker: `lib/compatibility-checker.ts`
- Real-time warnings displayed in builder
- Checks: CPU-Motherboard socket, RAM type, PSU wattage, GPU-Case size
- Visual indicators (errors/warnings/info)

### ⚠️ 6. Save Build
**Test Description:** Save selected components as a new PC build  
**Expected Result:** Build is saved and visible in user's build history  
**Status:** ⚠️ **PARTIALLY WORKING**  
**Current Implementation:**
- Save dialog exists: `app/builder/page.tsx` (line 299-315)
- Duplicate checking implemented
- **Issue:** Currently only logs to console, doesn't save to database
- Database schema ready (`builds`, `build_components` tables)
- `buildService.create()` exists in `lib/database.ts`

**Needs:** Connect `handleSaveBuild` to actually save to Supabase database

### ✅ 7. View Community Builds
**Test Description:** Navigate to community section and browse builds  
**Expected Result:** User can view and scroll through shared builds  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Community builds page: `app/builds/page.tsx`
- Real-time data from Supabase
- Search and filter functionality
- Pagination/scrolling
- Build statistics displayed

### ⚠️ 8. Comment on a Build
**Test Description:** Post a comment on a shared build  
**Expected Result:** Comment is posted and visible under the build  
**Status:** ⚠️ **PARTIALLY WORKING**  
**Current Implementation:**
- Comment UI exists: `app/builds/[id]/page.tsx` (line 241-263)
- Comment form and display working
- **Issue:** Comments stored in local state only, not saved to database
- Database schema ready (`comments` table exists)
- Comments linked to `build_history` table

**Needs:** Connect comment posting to Supabase `comments` table

### ⚠️ 9. Retailer Integration
**Test Description:** View prices and stock info from connected retailers  
**Expected Result:** Price, stock status, and shipping info are correctly displayed  
**Status:** ⚠️ **PARTIALLY WORKING**  
**Current Implementation:**
- Database schema ready (`retailers` table with address, phone, contact)
- Components linked to retailers via `retailer_id`
- Price displayed from `component_price` field
- **Missing:**
  - Stock status/availability display
  - Shipping info
  - Real-time price updates
  - Retailer location display in UI

**Needs:** 
- Add `availability_status` column to `components` table
- Create UI to display retailer information
- Add stock status tracking

### ✅ 10. Logout
**Test Description:** User logs out from the dashboard  
**Expected Result:** User is logged out and returned to login screen  
**Status:** ✅ **WORKING**  
**Implementation:**
- Logout function: `components/navigation.tsx` (line 72-77)
- Supabase session cleared
- Redirects to home page (`/`)
- Session refresh working

## Quick Fixes Needed

### 1. Save Build to Database
