# Use Case Implementation - Complete

## Overview
This document summarizes the implementation of missing use cases from the UML Use Case Diagram.

## ✅ Implemented Features

### 1. User Activity Monitoring (ADMIN Actor)
**Use Case:** MONITOR USER ACTIVITY

**Implementation:**
- ✅ Created `user_activity` table in database
- ✅ Created `lib/user-activity-service.ts` for activity tracking
- ✅ Added "Activity" tab in Admin Dashboard (`app/admin/page.tsx`)
- ✅ Activity types tracked:
  - login, logout
  - build_created, build_updated, build_deleted
  - component_viewed, guide_viewed
  - profile_updated
- ✅ Features:
  - View all user activities
  - Filter by activity type
  - Display user info, IP address, timestamps
  - Real-time activity monitoring

**Files Created/Modified:**
- `supabase-user-activity-migration.sql` - Database migration
- `lib/user-activity-service.ts` - Activity service
- `lib/supabase.ts` - Added user_activity types
- `app/admin/page.tsx` - Added Activity tab

### 2. Retailer Reports (RETAILER Actor)
**Use Case:** PROVIDE PC COMPONENTS (includes VIEW REPORTS, GENERATE REPORTS ON COMPONENTS)

**Implementation:**
- ✅ Created Retailer Reports page (`app/retailer/reports/page.tsx`)
- ✅ Features:
  - View all components with inventory status
  - Statistics dashboard (Total Components, In Stock, Out of Stock)
  - Generate reports (Inventory, Sales, Performance)
  - Download reports as JSON
  - Filter by retailer
  - Component details with price, status, category

**Files Created:**
- `app/retailer/reports/page.tsx` - Retailer reports interface

**Access:**
- Available at `/retailer/reports`
- Accessible by users with `retailer` or `admin` role

### 3. User-Submitted Build Guides (USER Actor)
**Use Case:** CHECK FOR GUIDES ON BUILD (extends SUBMIT OWN BUILD GUIDE)

**Implementation:**
- ✅ Created Submit Guide page (`app/guides/submit/page.tsx`)
- ✅ Features:
  - Form to submit build guides
  - Link guides to existing builds
  - Set difficulty level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)
  - Enter step-by-step instructions
  - Specify required tools
  - Save guides to database

**Files Created:**
- `app/guides/submit/page.tsx` - Guide submission form

**Access:**
- Available at `/guides/submit`
- "Submit Guide" button added to `/guides` page
- All authenticated users can submit guides

## Database Migrations Required

### 1. User Activity Table
Run `supabase-user-activity-migration.sql` in Supabase SQL Editor to create:
- `user_activity` table
- Indexes for performance
- RLS policies for security

## Next Steps

### To Complete Retailer Authentication:
1. Add `retailer` user type to user registration
2. Create retailer login flow
3. Add retailer role checking middleware

### To Enhance Activity Tracking:
1. Add activity logging hooks in:
   - Login/logout functions
   - Build creation/update/deletion
   - Component viewing
   - Guide viewing
   - Profile updates

### To Enhance Reports:
1. Add more report types (Sales trends, Component performance)
2. Add PDF export option
3. Add date range filtering
4. Add chart visualizations
